HEARD is all about true storytelling, where each night magically weaves its way between stand up comedy, group therapy and a confessional. We’re passionate about connecting people – and their captivating true stories – through our open platform where absolutely everyone and every story is welcome. Each month a new storytelling theme is picked.

This February we’re going Desert Island Discs with the theme ‘Music’. The tunes you had at your wedding or those you’d have at your funeral, the festival you’ll never forget and the music lessons you’d rather forget, first snogs, first albums and first gigs, choosing which Spice Girl you were or running into some Gallagher-level trouble. These musical moments are the soundtrack that defines life.

Show up with a story and bring a clip you’d like to play, or just sit back to listen. Our events are as much about the joy of hearing the voices of others and discovering just how much we have in common. We hope to make you laugh, reflect, maybe even make you cry. If you do decide to tell a story the amazing audience will make you feel right at home. Rules for budding storytellers: the story must be true, personal and around 5 minutes long.
