This October, join us for The Manchester Indian Film Festival, screening the best of British Asian Films and a collection of independent films from across South Asia. Films that entertain and explore themes of the Asian experience, including documentaries, comedies and LGBTQI+ films.

Sudeep Kanwal’s debut neo-noir thriller raises questions about the limits of access to private lives. Roopali (Rajshri Deshpande from Netflix’s Trial by Fire), an ambitious police officer, monitors Mumbai’s streets through CCTV. When a burglary occurs on her watch, she breaks protocol to investigate, becoming increasingly obsessed with surveillance. As she digs deeper, Roopali spirals down a dark path.
